01

OLD CAR Duties: Loyalty & Reasonable Care

Loyalty Reasonable Care

Loyalty: As NC brokers, we act in the best interest of our client above all else.

Reasonable Care: We bring the full weight of our skills and knowledge to every client relationship. If we cannot serve a client competently across cultural or language lines, our fiduciary duty requires us to refer out.

02

NAR Code of Ethics Article 10

REALTORS® shall not deny equal professional services to any person for reasons of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Every client deserves the same standard of care. No exceptions.

03

Article 11: Competence

NAR Code of Ethics Article 11

REALTORS® shall not undertake to provide specialized professional services without the necessary competence. Cultural competency is not optional. It is part of what it means to be a competent professional. If you cannot explain it, refer it out.

04

WWREA: Working With Real Estate Agents Disclosure

NC Disclosure Obligation WWREA
